Ask whether a culture is pending and whether treatment will be reviewed when it returns. If symptoms persist after a negative test, contact the clinician. Do not start or stop an antibiotic based solely on a dipstick or an online interpretation.
Confirm whether the clinic accepts outside orders, provides the required container and arranges send-out testing. Ask about separate charges for the visit, urinalysis and culture. No universal same-day reporting time is established.
