Patient appointments
Finding a convenient clinic is one part of treatment. For medicines such as ICOTYDE or TREMFYA, also confirm who will assess the condition, prescribe, obtain coverage, supply the medicine and monitor ongoing care.
An appointment does not confirm access to a particular medicine, procedure or specialist. Ask the team about the care and coverage you need.

For a new or uncertain rash, start with a clinical assessment rather than a request for a particular prescription. Bring photographs from flares and the names of treatments already tried. A clinician can assess the concern and discuss whether dermatology or another specialist is needed.
If a specialist already prescribed a medicine, bring that prescription and the treatment plan. Ask whether the appointment you are choosing is for assessment, follow-up, a test or administration. Those are different services and may not be available at every location.
Confirm the exact clinician and clinic, the service available there, whether outside records or an order are required, expected visit charges and insurance participation for that service. Use the current location page for directions and contact details, then verify appointment availability.
For TREMFYA, ask whether the prescribed dose is a home injection, a clinic-administered injection or adult IBD infusion induction. Do not interpret a clinic listing as proof of a stocked medicine, an infusion suite or an administration appointment. Do not arrange pharmacy delivery until the treatment site agrees.
Nao has location pages for the Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan and Long Island. The linked psoriasis-care pages provide a place to start reviewing the clinic and discussing assessment. The appropriate prescribing or specialist follow-up may take place elsewhere.
If you need help closer to home, ask about the specific service and clinician before booking. Choosing the nearest urgent-care site does not by itself establish access to a chronic biologic program.
Prepare your diagnosis, skin and joint symptoms, current medicines, last doses of any biologic, previous treatment responses, relevant test results, TB and vaccine history, and insurance card. Include the denial letter or pharmacy message if access is the main concern.
For a new prescription, agree on follow-up, symptom contacts and refill responsibility before the visit ends. A visit fee is separate from the cost of a specialty medicine, testing or administration unless explicitly included in your estimate.
These links identify Nao clinics and psoriasis-care information. Confirm the clinician and exact service; the list does not establish medicine stock or an infusion or injection service.
Do not assume so. TREMFYA requires a diagnosis, prescription, safety evaluation, supply arrangements and possibly authorization and administration planning. Confirm the exact service and date with the team. An urgent-care opening is not a confirmed biologic-treatment slot.
That depends on the service you are requesting and who is managing the condition. Ask before booking. If you have a dermatologist, rheumatologist or gastroenterologist, bring their current plan and confirm who will manage monitoring, prescriptions and any administration.
Ask the clinic first. The team needs to confirm the order, product, dose, storage, handling and whether it can provide that administration service. Do not transport or ship a specialty medicine on the assumption that any general clinic can administer it.
ICOTYDE is an oral prescription, so an injection site is not needed for the medicine itself. Choose an appropriate assessment or follow-up service, confirm the clinician and coverage, and arrange the dispensing pharmacy separately. The closest clinic may not be the prescribing location.
Bring the actual laboratory order and ask the clinic whether it can perform the requested tests, where results will go and what charges apply. Testing alone does not transfer responsibility for interpreting results or prescribing the medicine; agree on that with the ordering clinician.
