Invega Trinza is a three-month paliperidone palmitate injection for schizophrenia after adequate treatment with Invega Sustenna for at least four months. Nao Medical can coordinate an accepted outside order, patient-specific delivery, administration, visit monitoring, and ongoing psychiatry. Stabilization records, the next due date, renal review, coverage, medication arrival, and the eligible clinic must be confirmed first.

If an outside psychiatric clinician sends a valid order and adequate records, Nao reviews whether the order can be accepted, coordinates patient-specific medication delivery, confirms an eligible administration clinic, administers the injection, and monitors the visit. Acceptance is not automatic, and Nao does not change the medication or dose without a valid prescriber-led plan.
The medicine is coordinated for the individual patient. An evaluation does not guarantee eligibility, order acceptance, medication access, or administration at the clinic where the evaluation occurs.
Initiation, schedule, and late-dose planning
Before the first dose
Invega Trinza is not a first paliperidone injection. The label requires at least four months of adequate treatment with monthly Invega Sustenna before transition. The last two monthly doses should normally be the same strength so a corresponding three-month dose can be selected by the responsible prescriber.
Labeled schedule and route
Invega Trinza is given once every three months by intramuscular injection in the deltoid or gluteal muscle.
If a dose is late
A limited scheduling window exists around the three-month date. Longer gaps trigger stepwise re-initiation with monthly Invega Sustenna before Invega Trinza can resume. The responsible prescriber must calculate the plan from exact injection dates.
No automatic medication change
A long-acting injection cannot simply be removed. Any change requires a prescriber-led plan that accounts for the prior dose and the next product's initiation rules.

Injection-site reactions, weight increase, headache, restlessness or akathisia, and parkinsonism are among the common reactions described in the prescribing information.
All eight labels carry a boxed warning about increased mortality in older adults with dementia-related psychosis and state that the product is not approved for that use. Other important risks can include neuroleptic malignant syndrome, tardive dyskinesia, metabolic changes, low blood pressure or falls, low white blood cell counts, seizures, swallowing problems, impaired temperature regulation, and cognitive or motor impairment. When to get urgent help
Get emergency help for trouble breathing or facial swelling, fainting, very high fever with severe muscle stiffness or confusion, a seizure, or a sudden major change in consciousness. Contact the psychiatric prescriber promptly for new uncontrolled movements, severe restlessness, marked sedation, rapidly worsening symptoms, or thoughts of self-harm. Call 911 or 988 when immediate safety is at risk.
Coverage and medication access
The office visit, the medication, and administration may process through different parts of an insurance plan. Prior authorization, specialty-pharmacy requirements, patient-specific shipment, and manufacturer-program eligibility vary.
