Nao Medical Opens New Location in Long Island City & Hosts Ribbon Cutting Ceremony, Providing Comprehensive & Affordable Community-Focused Healthcare and Walk-In Medical Practice for New Yorkers
New York, NY (May 10, 2022) – Nao Medical opened its NYC flagship in Long Island City today located at 30-07 36th Avenue, Queens. As a comprehensive, community-focused, and walk-in healthcare facility, Nao Medical is expanding its suite of services from urgent care to primary care including mental health and wellness services, immigration services, occupational medicine, travel clinic, at-home care, and more. Formerly known as Statcare, Nao Medical provided free COVID vaccination and booster shots to mark the opening of its 1,500 square-foot Long Island City facility.

Dr. Priti Jain is CEO and Acting Medical Director of Nao Medical, who received her medical degree from SMS Medical College and has been practicing for over 20 years as an ER doctor before opening her own Urgent Care. Dr. Sandeep Jain is the Co-CEO of Nao-Medical. He graduated as Chief Resident at Long Island Jewish Medical Center and has worked at HHC and other hospitals and Urgent Care since 1998. He specializes in internal medicine and wellness. He also taught medical residents for 15 years and won the Best Teaching Faculty Award, twice at New York Medical College.
Founded in 2009 and formerly known as Statcare, Nao Medical has grown to have nearly 400 employees and14 locationsthroughout the five boroughs and Long Island, along with a fleet of mobile care sites. In addition, four new locations in 2022 are scheduled in the Bronx, Mineola, Baldwin and Bayshore, NY.
Throughout the pandemic, Nao Medical remained open and served over 700,000 New Yorkers providing them with much needed access to COVID PCR tests, Rapid COVID tests and antibody infusions. Nao Medical providers also went into communities with their mobile units and gave 5,000 life-saving vaccinations. Today, Nao Medical provides a comprehensive range of health, mental health, and wellness services from regular checkups to urgent care available to all New Yorkers. “Nao” means boat in Hindi, Sanskrit, and Spanish, bringing to mind the idea of ferrying their patients from a time of stress to a moment of calm and navigating towards better health.
Most recently, Nao Medical just introduced their at-home services, which is now available in all five boroughs including Long Island. For patients who are on the go and aren’t able to visit a clinic or doctor, Nao Medical brings their services directly to patient’s homes whether it’s a COVID PCR test, COVID rapid test, annual physical, IV infusion services, and blood tests. Depending on the service, medical practitioners or nurses visit the patient at home. While the at-home visit is free, the individual service is covered by insurance or viaout-of-pocket expenses.
