View location detailsSpravato eligibility
Spravato may be an option for eligible adults when depression has not improved enough with standard treatment. Nao Medical reviews symptoms, treatment history, safety considerations, and insurance requirements before treatment starts.
Multi-location Spravato access across NYC and Long Island, with care-manager support, Medicaid access, and clinic options that account for repeated monitored visits.
Spravato is FDA-approved for adults with treatment-resistant depression and for certain adults with major depressive disorder with acute suicidal thoughts or behavior. Eligibility is not based on a single questionnaire. The care team reviews diagnosis, medication history, current symptoms, medical risk factors, blood pressure, substance-use history when relevant, and whether Spravato can be administered safely in a monitored setting.
Many insurance plans also require documentation before coverage is approved. That can include prior antidepressant trials, current psychiatric diagnosis, symptom history, and provider notes supporting medical necessity.
If Spravato appears appropriate, Nao Medical can begin benefits verification and prior authorization steps. If another treatment path is safer or more appropriate, the team can discuss alternatives, follow-up care, or coordination with your current psychiatrist.
Spravato treatment is available at selected Nao Medical locations across NYC and Long Island.
